We had a special dinner at this restaurant with our guests on March 20th, and it was absolutely fantastic! The Italian food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the vibe was great. Highly recommended! I suggest you visit at least once—you'll want to go back every night!

Excellent food and service from Ryan. Great ambience. A very enjoyable dinning experience. The calamari is light and crispy. Lightly salted. The rack of lamb cooks perfectly. The ossobuco and the bone marrow is rich and tender. Slightly on the salty side to my liking. The cappuccino is delicious. Overall we are impressed and delighted to find another good restaurant that worth revisiting. They acknowledge the booking was for a birthday celebration at the front desk however there are no special celebrations or anything offered by the restaurant so I’m not sure the purpose of asking when I made reservation.

We were group of four on a Thursday evening. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine and food selections. We had fish, veal, chicken and shrimp between four of us. The interior design makes this place very welcoming and warm. It's highly recommended for couple or family dinning.

Giardino has been around in Vancouver for many years, and it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. The food is simply amazing — full of flavor and warmth, it truly tastes like homemade Italian cooking. Every dish feels carefully prepared, just like a meal at a family table. What really sets Giardino apart, though, is the atmosphere and the people. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. On one visit, the owner actually sat down with me while I was dining — we had a lovely conversation, and it made the experience even more memorable. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes you feel at home. The bartender is another highlight. He not only serves great drinks but also remembers your preferences — a small detail that makes a big difference. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed, perfect for a night out whether you're alone, with friends, or on a date. I absolutely love this place and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I had a reservation for 7.30pm for myself and my partner on our last evening in Vancouver, the restaurant had a nice a atmosphere, food was fantastic, I had a steak and my partner a pasta dish, we shared a desert and total was £70, in my opinion price was spot on. Food came out in no time and our waitress Meghan and a young gentleman as well were very accommodating and added to the experience. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

Had the best dining experience! Food and drinks were delicious. We were seated in the patio/ garden. It was our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Felt like we were in Italy. The staff is very friendly and we were very lucky to have Megan as our waitress. We are vegan/vegetarian and she helped us pick our meal which was so delicious! We will be back for another meal for sure!

Always a great experience. Have been going here since the little yellow house and always have a great time. Our server Petra was great, read us perfectly and realized we wanted to linger and not be rushed. She was there when needed, but it was really nice not to be rushed at all on a busy evening, just before Christmas. As usual I ordered the veal chop and it did not disappoint. Not sure how they do it, but after we paid the bill and walked outside our vehicle was right there waiting for us.

Nice restaurant, they have valet at the front which is convinence. Food and service both are nice. I recommend the burrata, a must order dishes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Star Review for Gardino Restaurant.. Absolutely Exceptional! I hosted my staff Christmas party at Gardino in Vancouver.. and the entire experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the service, atmosphere, and food were all top tier. Gardino truly delivered a memorable night for our whole team. We ordered a variety of dishes across the table.. and every single one was incredible. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked.. tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented with broccolini, roasted carrots, and braised red cabbage. The seafood dishes were equally impressive.. the seafood pasta came loaded with fresh mussels and shrimp in a rich, vibrant sauce that tasted straight out of Italy. The salmon entrée was a standout as well.. perfectly seared, served over asparagus with a silky lemon butter sauce and cherry tomatoes that added the perfect pop of sweetness. Even the pasta plates were a hit across the table.. fresh, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. Everyone at the party commented on how delicious everything was.. and the staff made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire night. Attentive, friendly, and professional service from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and classic.. making it a perfect spot for group gatherings, celebrations, or even a special date night. Gardino feels like a hidden gem in Vancouver.. and after this experience, it’s definitely become a new favourite for us. Highly recommend Gardino to anyone looking for incredible food, great service, and an overall fantastic dining experience.. We’ll absolutely be back!

Everything was so perfect! I loved their food, all the staff was friendly, atmosphere was beautiful. Bread we had before starting our meal was so delicious loved it, burrata was amazing they even made two dishes for us since we said we want to share the appetizer. Service was exceptional, loved how they cared about customers to enjoy the food and offer what they recommended. Only thing I regret is we were so full we couldn't enjoy the desserts, wish to come back here once again❤️Everything worth it.
